Burtstive begins…

In 2015, Marie Sakotic and Anitra Robertson's paths first crossed in the dynamic landscape of healthcare innovation. United by a shared passion for revolutionising patient outcomes through emerging technologies, they embarked on a series of collaborative studies that would lay the groundwork for their future endeavours.

Marie and Anitra's inspired conversations continued for many years before then setting up Burstive in 2024.

Today, they draw on two decades of consulting and project experience working with leaders across mining, oil and gas, defence and healthcare. Pairing this with Marie’s unique ability for soaking up vast amounts of literature, and Anitra’s gift for translating complexity into simple engaging tools, the Burstive unique concept was obvious.

When they come together, this skill mix comes alive in what can only be described as burstiness…

"Burstiness" in organisational psychology contexts is like catching lightning in a bottle - it's those unpredictable bursts of ideas and creativity in conversation where one idea bounces off and inspires another.

It’s this burstiness that has directly inspired their company name, and the drive behind their unique leader offerings.

Marie is a seasoned consultant with over 20 years of experience across diverse sectors, including professional consulting, transportation, mining and social services.
